This is a great example of the coveted MIJ Mustangs from the late '80s/early 90's. The neck is thin and comfortable. The finish has faded to a nice yellow-cream color. The reissue pickups and stock switching options give you all the iconic Mustang tones you could want. Made in the Fujigen factory, these early reissue Mustangs are well-known for their craftsmanship, feel, and tone and this guitar embodies all three.
Overall, this guitar is in very good condition. You will find dings and scratches consistent with a guitar of this age indicating it's been well played but not abused. There are small finish cracks on each side of the neck pocket, as you see in many bolt-on guitars. The frets show minimal wear and all electronics work as expected. We oiled the vibrato knife edges, set the springs for proper tension, and installed a new set of D'Addario XL 11-49 strings. The only parts that don't appear to be original are the Strat volume/tone knobs. A Mustang vibrato arm is not included with this guitar, but we will include a Strat style arm that can be used in a pinch.
