If you are looking for a vintage-correct Tele with modern build quality, this may be the one for you. This model was spec'd by Chicago Music Exchange and starts with the iconic Butterscotch Blonde with tasteful aging. It's got medium fret wire so the neck feels very comfortable for most players. It's fitted with a pair of Chicago Special pickups made for CME (alnico 3 bridge, alnico 5 neck). The 3-way switch provides 1 position with bridge only and 2 positions with neck only but using 2 different capacitor/resistor values. What would normally be a tone knob is a blend control to bring in the neck pickup when using the bridge pickup. Fender also includes a more standard pre-wired 3-way, volume, and tone control plate if you want to switch it out. Finally, every screw on this guitar is a flat-head screw, there are no phillips screws on this guitar at all. This Tele is light, well balanced, and incredibly easy to play. Overall condition is excellent to mint since it's a factory relic guitar.
