This Silhouette was part of a special run for The Music Zoo in 2020. The Silver Sparkle finish is awesome, especially under bright lights. The stainless steel frets combined with the satin wax neck finish and ebony fretboard means you can play as fast as you want with no limitations. The stock pickups are made by Dimarzio and are the equivalent of the Virtual PAF humbuckers with a custom wound single coil in the middle. The black pickguard and all black hardware is a nice touch and really sets this version apart from other Silhouettes.
Overall condition is near mint. As you can see, there's some hazing on the pickguard from playing, but there are no dings, dents, scratches, or neck joint cracks on this guitar. The frets show no wear and everything works like new.
As great as this guitar is in its stock form, we're offering the option to purchase a 2nd loaded pickguard with this guitar. The other pickguard is black/white/black and configured with 2 humbuckers (no middle pickup). It has a Dimarzio Tone Zone in the bridge and Air Norton in the neck with a 3-way blade switch and master vol/tone controls. It replicates the tones in the Music Man Axis, and because this guitar has a bright base tone, these pickups are a perfect match! This loaded pickguard was built in-house using the best components like CTS vintage taper pots, Oak 3-way switch, and Mojotone Dijon capacitor. Send us a message for more information on this option.
