Anderson Guitarworks Humbucker H2+

The H-series pickups from Tom Anderson have the widest frequency response of all Anderson humbuckers, meaning they will capture more lows and highs than a typical vintage-voiced humbucker.  However, the mids are still present and the higher in number you go with the H-series, the more mids you will hear.  So the H1- represents the least amount of mids along with the lowest output, while the H3+ has the most amount of mids and the highest output.

The H2+ is Tom's most popular pickup.  It's incredibly musical, with soaring highs, strong mids, and full bass.  Yet, the highs are not harsh and the bass is not flubby - it reproduces all the frequencies you want and none of the frequencies you don't want.  It has enough output to push the front end of a tube amp into overdrive, yet you can back off the volume pot on the guitar and get some really nice low gain tones.  Plus, the H2+ splits incredibly well and has some of the best split coil tones of any humbucker ever made.
